Request: bring back number of pages

When doing a search, we no longer get to see how many pages of results are available. All I see is the number of the current page, and "next" & "prev" buttons.

Even if you don't provide buttons for individual pages anymore, you should still display the total number of pages of results.

Unfortunately figuring out the number of pages seems to be a drain on the server. It was causing a lot of queries to take a lot longer than they needed to.

Is the number of pages really that useful? I was thinking that people go from page to page, not skip to other pages...

I'm not interested in using links to those other pages. But I do like knowing the page count.

Normally my search only gives a few pages worth of results, but sometimes it will give several dozen pages of results. In those cases, I may not feel like I have time to look through them all at that time. Having the total page count just makes it easier to see that & make that decision.

But it's not worth bogging down the server. I can live without it.
