In the "advanced search", there is a list of stores from which to choose. This used to be a simple selection box, but at some point was updated with some fancy "multiselect" javascript to add little check boxes and allow multiple selections without modifier keys.
The problem is when I wish to select all stores except for one or two. With a simple selection box, you can select the first store, then go to the last one and hold down the shift key while clicking. This will select everything in between, in addition to the first and last items clicked. Then you could find the store you wished to exclude, hold down the control key & click on it to unselect it. With the new system, there is no easy way to do this. You have to click on every single entry that you wish to include. Can you change it so that shift-clicking will once again select everything between two previous selections? Or provide some other way to select everything? |

I have a workaround for this problem.
I use the NoScript Firefox extension, and don't allow javascript from dealscans.com. Then those lists revert back to plain old selection boxes, and my old method works again. The downside is that the fancy editor for posting in the forums doesn't work. |
