IMPORTANT: Due to the changes in the outlet on 12/22, previous versions of OutletScanner will no longer work. You must upgrade to this version.
Attached to this post you will find the release of OutletScanner 4.1, the newest version of the Popular FREE Dell Outlet Scanner. The updates for this version work with Dell's new CAPTCHA image verification. See Dell Outlet OutletScanner for more details. Please let me know if you have any suggestions or problems. For whatever reason, I get kicked back to a "no items in cart" page after a short while. I've tried to see what causes this, but there's no rhyme or reason that I can see.
When I click "continue shopping" I get a refresh rate warning and it goes to xps desktops (I've been looking at inspiron laptops). All the settings are at default on the scanner. When I try to rectify this, I end up with hit frequency warning regardless of my refresh rate. |

The scanning happens in the background, you do not need to do anything in the main window until you are alerted that you need to type the characters. |

It stays on the cart screen, too. It never goes back out to the Outlet screen. |

The program goes between "waiting to refresh" and "Loading inventory webpage" forever and ever and never stops.
I have these settings: DEll Home, Inspiron, Inspiron 9400/E1705 ALL on most settings, except RAM = 2000 and videocard = 256 Price is 500 to 1300 Start hour: -1 , min: 14, second: 37 refresh rate: 0.8, NEW, REFURB Regular expression: (T5600|T7200|T7400) Ths program plays the missblip.wav once every few minutes and loads the page that saids "There are no items in your cart." Smitts, can you let me know what I done wrong? thankyou. |

I tried running 4.1 this morning, and the status bar showed "WARNING: refresh rate too fast!" a few times. I was not accessing any Dell website via any other browsers at the time. The refresh rate was set to 0.6 seconds. It appeared to "clear up" after a while.
Question - if I change a setting (such as refresh rate) while the scanner is running, does it immediately take effect? Or do I have to stop & re-start the scanner? Last edited by garsh : 01-02-2007 at 07:52 AM. |

Most of the settings take effect immediately. I believe the regular expression and email fields are the only ones that need to have it stop/restart. Last edited by smitts : 01-03-2007 at 09:57 AM. |
