I am so excited. I am a little worried eBay may be able to detect who uses the scanner. Oh mighty computer pros, what are the odds of being detected? Really, I'm curious.

I guess it's just me being greedy, but I don't want anybody else to find this beautiful tool. You were sooo nice to enlighten us! (I hope you keep being sooo nice...!)

I'm very hesitant to add auto buy, with all the fake listings that were going on... Don't want everyone unhappy because they wind up with a bunch of pictures of cats in their inboxes :)

I'll try to add Grand Prizes, but it's a bit of a guess as to which category they'll show up in. The grand prize for today, I can't see anyone wanting it if it were given to them.

You should see a status in the bottom right corner. After you log in, click start, and the status will show you how many times it has loaded the inventory page, looking for items. When it finds an item, the big window will display the confirmation screen.

Thanks so much smitts, I've missed 4 ipods so far, it's taken within 1 or 2 second, I was just 0.5 second behind, incredible.
It'd be great if you add ultimate deals from tomorrow. I think it's fine to post two version of the scanners, or post after they update the day's deals 10 or 20 mins.

Haven't all the sellers been brand-new & identity-verified? Might be something to check to confirm that it's a legit doorbuster. You could also search for the doorbuster text or pictures within the auction listing.

New version posted in the original post. This one should say 11/30 at the top instead of 11/29. It will also skip the quantity page and go directly to the confirmation page, saving a step :)

I could, but it would require an extra step to load the item page though. I'll think about it.. I'm not sure what the link structure/post data is to actually buy either, but I could look into it.

thanks for the file will this work on a Mac?

I tried to open it on my laptop (windows) and it said it need net framework or something like that

No, it is windows only.

Once the item is listed, it will go directly to the confirmation page, and i just have to be able to click the button first? sorry im a amateur, lol.

And i dont know, but having the auto buy seems worth it if we get fake pictures, if we're also able to get an actual auction of the real thing. But it is up to you! =) I know I wouldn't mind it =P

That's pretty much it.. It has to do with your connection speed, how soon after the listing comes up did the software refresh, how fast you can click, etc. Remember that there are a lot of other people with similar software trying for the same items you are.

I've had a few Planet Earth's come up yesterday, but didn't buy. I'm holding out for the Wii on Monday. I'd ask that people only use the scanner to buy 1 item, like the rules mention, and give others a chance.
