The PHDTV3 also features a very low noise amplifier with adjustable gain up to 10 dB to maintain excellent Carrier-to-Noise ratio that is critical for digital reception. With approximately 10 percent of DTV broadcast transmissions in the VHF band, dual VHF 40 inch dipoles make the PHDTV3 equally adept for VHF DTV as well as analog.
