Designed to eliminate fumbling around when seeking a flashlight in the dark, this right-angle rechargeable flashlight features a lens shroud that emits a bright glow when the lights are out or the sun has set. The new-generation photoluminescent material in the shroud\'s plastic absorbs energy from any light source: fluorescent lights, the sun, and even the flashlight\'s own beam. Designed for firefighters and equipped with a backup krypton emergency lamp housed behind the reflector, the flashlight projects an intensely bright xenon-lamp beam straight ahead while the flashlight, in hands-free mode, hangs from pocket or belt on a heavy-duty stainless-steel clip. The beam cuts through thick smoke and dust, making it also ideal for emergency and utility workers. Made of rugged ABS resin that resists chemicals, corrosion, and extreme temperatures, the flashlight has rubber side grips to prevent slipping. A push-button switch on the side is easy to operate, even when thick gloves are worn. The flashlight is seven inches long and weighs 20.48 ounces with rechargeable battery pack installed. Powered by a four-C-cell NiCad battery pack (included), the flashlight comes with a two-bay Fast Charger base and a 110V transformer. One bay fast-charges the battery pack while it\'s installed in the flashlight. The second bay trickle-charges a spare battery pack (not included). The flashlight has a quick-change ejection system to replace an exhausted battery pack.
